@strangeness I certainly applaud the variety on the seas just like pre-DA sails. The game will finally feel more unique again.
Regarding your advice for the crew...Man it's easier said than done. If all it took was one word, one sentence and everyone would live happily ever after, we would not have such a discussion. The way it is, it's basically sailing Galleon as a duo or not sailing galleon at all. So no more cut, means even more of the 2nd options. I could manage Galleon with one other crew mate for anything PVE (apart heavy damage in world events) , but it's just not fun to do ''competitive'' sailing against environment and put in as much effort as trying to pull of Fatality in Mortal Kombat for minutes non stop.
Also another thing that bothers me, if you have watched the documentary, a lot of time Rare showed their support for people with disabilities who found love for this game. Which is amazing.
So is it so difficult for devs to understand that not everyone like to boss people around on a computer game? I don't like telling people of when I am trying to have a good time. If I was working in Rare office, and they went afk while we are sailing, they could easily report me to HR next day for things I would say.
Also if I am playing with new people, less experienced, maybe someone from their documentary? Do I tell them NO Don't jump to that island your job is to look left!!!! No you cant check the barrels I need you on sails!!??
Yeah no..
