There are some insane achievements out there. Take for example the fruit crate delivery, or explosive keg delivery achievement. You gotta deliver 50 of them on time. I've played more than 200 hours, and have gotten 1 fruit crate quest and 0 explosive keg ones. At this rate, i'd have to play 10.000 hours to even complete the fruit crate achievement.
I'm no Steam completionist by any means, but when i'm really into a game, i enjoy looking at them and eventually completing them if it's not too crazy. But in Sea of Thieves, it's too crazy.
Please revisit the achievement section and remove or balance them a bit. It doesn't have to be easy or quick to get 100% by any means, but if you can't do it in 500 hours (despite this being a rookie number for some players, this is actually an incredible amount of time to play 1 game), it's not implemented properly.
LOL, you should have been around BEFORE they lowered it. It used to be 250 of each before they adjusted it down to an acceptable level as it is now. Do not expect it to be lowered again as it is entirely at an acceptable level.
There are much worse achievements to get than these, these just have a RNG effect to them and they aren't really common. Best advice is if you are trying to grind them out, drop whatever you may be doing in the game whenever you get one of these quests from a barrel or bottle and do them instead. I say this since they are on a timer and can easily be forgotten if you don't prioritize them (leading to it expiring). It will still take a while, but as I said there are much worse grinds in the game then these. You'd be lucky to scratch many of those in less than "500 hours" as you claim - some games have long term goals and don't expect you to grind them out quickly.
