Sea of Thieves Season 15
Set out to track dangerous new wildlife across the seas as a major expansion to The Hunter’s Call comes to shore!
New Features
The Sea of Thieves is teeming with new wildlife, and The Hunter’s Call are rising to meet it! With new creatures to confront, new rewards to unlock and new levels of Distinction to earn, it’s an opportune time to be a hunter…
You’re Going to Need
a Bigger Galleon
The familiar Megalodons of the Sea of Thieves are fearsome beasts, but it turns out that even darker creatures have been dwelling beneath the waves… The Feared Redmaw and Barnacled Dread have crossed over from the Sea of the Damned, and now lie in wait to terrorise sailors with their ferocity and alarming special abilities.
Crews attacked by the Feared Redmaw will need to ensure they’ve got plenty of water ready to put out her fires, while those facing down the Barnacled Dread should watch for Ocean Crawlers boarding their ship to upset the odds. Hunter’s Call Grade 5 Emissaries will at least have an advantage in being able to spot these emergent new Megalodon threats on their ship’s map!
Hunting Spear
If you’re looking to go up against formidable beasts, you’ll need the right equipment! The Hunter’s Call know this all too well, and new hunting spears are waiting to be purchased from their shop or found washed up on beaches. These thorny throwables will deal high damage to wildlife, and when fired from a cannon, can even break through a ship’s hull.
Ambient Wildlife
Not all the creatures you come across need to be fought off with cutlass or spear – some are simply there to be appreciated! The world has never been more alive than it is now, with increased numbers of passive animals discoverable on land or out at sea that enhance the ambience each time you set sail. How many of these newly emerging species will you encounter?
Coming Later This Season
Hostile Wild Boars
Unfortunately, some of the new residents aren’t quite so peaceful. Wild boars have taken refuge on the islands and hidden away treasures in their mud wallows. If you want to get your hands on this loot, and maybe take back a boar tusk or two, you’ll need to face these prickly porcines head on. Just brace yourself for the charge…
Hunting Voyages
The Pirate Lord has entrusted The Hunter’s Call with the task of tackling these increased threats on both land and sea, and they’re savvy enough to seek some backup. With new Hunting Voyages, they’ll reward pirates willing to set off in search of Grand Boars running amok, or even to follow in the wake of rampaging Megalodons.
Stay on the cutting edge of pirate style by visiting the Pirate Emporium! As new arrivals come in every month – ship liveries, weapons, pets, costumes, emotes and more – there’s plenty to pick up with your Ancient Coins.
