Back in October 2018, we opened the Athena’s Fortune Contest to celebrate the release of the first full Sea of Thieves novel, Athena’s Fortune. We invited all of you to submit short stories on the Forums that told tales set in the world of Sea of Thieves, particularly those that you and your crew had embarked upon.
The winning stories would be collected together in a commemorative tome called Mariners’ Myths. We also asked you arty hearties to submit artwork for the front cover – the deadline for artwork was actually extended a little, to ensure we had plenty of submissions sailing in.
You all rose to the challenge with true pirate tenacity and soon we were buried in stories and art, making choosing the winners a hard task indeed. We appreciate your patience and the moment has now arrived to announce our final verdicts! If Merrick would kindly give us a drum roll, please:
