I've had this problem with the game only twice now and its very odd. The first time was when the hungering deep was added and just earlier today (4-13 for reference). The glitch removes all islands in a region for me to see, they are still physically there but not visible to me. That's certainly a strange one, I know I've had occasions with the islands not rendering correctly and falling through terrain as well as the strange 'land swimming' lol
Definitely one to submit via Support :)This happened to me once. I was doing an Athena Voyage alone and my Legendary Chest was waiting for me at Sailors Bounty. When I arrived in the Shores of Plenty I immediately saw there was something strange, Cannon Cove, Lone Cove, Sanctuary Outpost... all were missing. Knowing it would be impossible for me to dig my legendary chest without seeing the island, I tried to go the Ferry of the Damned to see if it could fix it but I ended to be stuck in the infinite black screen and I couldn't do anything except restarting the game and losing my chest 😭
