1v1 Me!

    I think it would be a neat idea if there was an emote for dueling. When two members on a crew use the emote towards each other they get a prompt asking them if they want to duel. If both sailors agree to it, their health bar could change colors (or something) to indicate that they're in duel mode and they can fight each other to the death. Either sailor could cancel the duel if they want by doing the emote again. Maybe there could be commendations or achievements for it. As well as a screen to display your dueling history and who won. This could also be done with sailors from other crews as well.

    Love it, and it would help practice pvp with friends so u can hone ur skills for when an enemy ship eventually makes it way to u

    I've had a proper duel at one point. Long story short I was marooned on Cannon Cove hiding loot when a solo sloop showed up to catch chickens. I sunk his sloop, he got salty about it and challenged me. We had a duel right there on the beach, we even took a time out when skeletons spawned to not have them interfere with it. It was awesome. :D

    What for? This would be a tool for these losers, that lost all their stuff in a fight, but they are sure, they could have beaten you 1 on 1, if they just had enough time to prepare (or other excuses for failure).

    Unfortunately reality is not 1 on 1 with time for preparation. You have to be prepared ALL THE TIME. Consider every moment a 1 on 1. If you are caught off guard, you FAILED!

    @longingfern4785 Agreed, though it could be used for players of the same crew. Aforementioned to settle disputes.
    I ended up in an occasion where settling on turning in loot at an outpost led to a heated argument.
    And even though he turned out to be a jerk; We didn't want to brig him because we knew we would need 4 players to defend our large horde;
    Long story short I threatened to throw treasure in the water while he wasn't looking if he didn't sail to the nearest outpost.
    A 1v1 duel would have settled that dispute in under 2 minutes.
