I said before that you and I won't see eye to eye on this debate. You keep throwing around that PC players keep calling themselves the "m*********e" and that we treat you as "2nd rate citizens" but that is not at all true when it comes to this game. Sure you can find in everyday life people who use the term m*********e for PC, but on these forums, I have never addressed the issue of crossplay as a m*********e vs Console argument.
You are always looking for a fight about crossplay and your argument always boils down to the same issue -
when i'm solo i want to know i died because of a better skilled player, not because he has a mouse!
As I have always said in our discussions that disabling crossplay should NEVER be an option. I have tried to give you the alternative options of providing Mouse and Keyboard support for those on Xbox that want it as well as improving controller sensitivity with a slider bar for the player's personal settings. I don't play on console (but I own one and pay for Xbox live gold), but controller fully customizable keybindings should also be available or at least allow the selection wheel to be customized by console players.
These solutions would make the playing field more level for console players without sacrificing PC's playability in the game. (Others suggested downgrading PC graphics or POV or Sensitivity, which specifically hurts one to improve the other, which I am against.) Every solution that I provide you shoot down. Your only goal is to drive the already existent wedge between gamers deeper.
If games never had a disable crossplay option what would you do? Would you never play video games again? Would you build yourself a PC?
As a PC gamer I want things level so players can not complain about one being better than the other. In the past, I was excluded from playing games like Halo, Grand Theft Auto, and games now like Destiny 2 and Monster Hunter World because they come to PC Months (MHW is almost 1 year) later and many spoilers are out. All games should be crafted and created equally. PC games from here forward should be developed for consoles too. Open this gaming world up to all players, even the competitive ones. Rare has done beautifully at this and putting in an option to disable it disrupts what they have accomplished. It does need improvement, but why shackle what has been done to break down the barrier by putting the same wall back up.
I think one of the biggest critics of cross play says something very interesting.

I take this as that even this player does not know if someone is on mouse and keyboard. There is doubt in their mind that they will never get resolved because they honestly cannot tell if a player is on the PC or on the Console. They can only justify it that "someone has an advantage" and that skill plays no part in it.
The thing is that Rare has done a great job that the everyday player can not tell if someone is mouse and keyboard unless they ask.
