Sometimes your journey takes you only a few islands over other times its more lengthy. once the sails are up and your heading in the right direction theres nothing to do. I would like a fishing activity off the side of the ship with different areas offering different fish with some areas offering larger sizes and rarer fish.
Online leader boards for the fishing would be good aswell as a fish market to sell them with rare fish going for higher ammount. Foe team activity if you want to sail around whaling /sharking activity in small boats would be good aswell.

I agree with this, fishing would be an amazing feature to add to the game.
It would be great for things like your say, mid voyage getting a bit bored so throw a line over the side. People could explore and hunt out the best places to catch the rarest fish and yeah having some kind of leader board would be amazing and add some friendly competition to the community, like having a fish scale on the docks go up and weight your fish and if you got the biggest it could appear on an in-game board on the docks with your name and the weight.
For me I would just love after a crazy few hours voyaging just being able to go solo and have a relaxing fish and a grog!
@sefer-noctis thank you that is exactly what i had in mind. Nothing against the game. i am enjoying it but this would be a welcome feature.
