Everyone talks about the game in the server, and unfortunately not a lot of regular players are praising the game. It is in a bad state at the moment, but the issue is that the server is not addressing ANY of the issues, and it has made the server into an utter echo-chamber of nonsense.
When I rant and post ideas here, we are all civilly communicating and sharing our thoughts. Even though some ideas aren’t good for the game, people still have the freedom in here to post and talk about their issues and how to solve them. The official SoT server, however, deletes complaints regarding the server and staff team and fails to listen to any community members.
I have been muted for three days for “ragebaiting and disrespect” when I brought up how the support system is completely useless because of how their ban and anti-cheat system work, leading to barely any real action being taken on offenders. It’s quite insane on how a game that is currently dying because of lack of good content is not listening to the community about their complaints. I know hundreds of other players who have stated the same thing, so it is not a one-time thing.
I am not insulting the mods or developers in any way, shape, or form; I just believe that the server needs to have a system of forums (just like this) so that more people can spread their ideas or complaints. If moderators are tired of seeing this type of criticism, they can organize it in forums to filter out the constructive criticism from the obvious insult to character.
