Why is it that the enemy spawns closer to us after sinking than when we sink? For example, today the enemy stole the loot from us and fled to Shores of Gold with it, but that's not a problem because they voted Tall Tale up, my friends and I figured out what they wanted so we voted up so we could go after them. We sank them at that red border, and while we were picking up the loot, they immediately spawned on Shores of Gold about 2 blocks away from us. We sank with great difficulty and we were right where they were, but we were at the very end of the Devil's Roar section. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that for some reason we ended up further away. Could something be done with the spawn distance because it's pretty unfair.

That isn’t a problem but spawning closer is. I’m sorry that just a cheeky thing. I rather they spawn closer than run into the void unless I also vote to do the same. But most cases, can’t because I have an active voyage.

There your answer. They were doing a tall tale, something you don’t see the issue with. And game helps you respawn closer than run to your tall tale so you can finish it. Won’t be right for them to be sunk at SoG and respawn outside near a tavern….

What…? Im pretty sure spawning is random…
