Let people choose to be on seperate ships so there's finally a way to battle your friends.
Of course if Rare were to add that it would be good to also disable the alliance flag on safer seas to make sure people don't earn gold there faster than intended.
An Idea I have to make safer seas just a little bit cooler
@burnbacon I was just giving an idea that seemed cool to me, something to give it some use for players that already feel comfortable in high seas

That all fine and cool but you got to think about the reason why SS was created to begin with.
Players wanted a place to sail in peace away from pvp and do tall tales. Along with other stuff. No other players. Not even friendly ships
Once you start adding other ships. When does it stop before it just High Seas with limited income. :/
@burnbacon Yeah I get what you mean by this.
Some people have wanted a way to battle with their friends I just thought SS would be a great place for that, I wasn't really thinking about "4 galleons all doing their own thing" and more like "2 sloops/brigs having some fun".Also sorry if all my sentences are formulated weirdly, english is my 2nd lang and I'm not really good at writing even in my own one.

Alternatively just allow for a zero-reputation hourglass setup where you both just get fresh-stocked ships and load into an instance. Not sure what it has to do with Safer Seas beyond it being its own instance.
I think some of you are missing the point of safer seas, it is suppose to be a learning environment.
Scrimmaging friends is and has been a long-standing way for people to gain experience for years, not just in video games
Give the devs some credit they have done great at keeping things in a manageable state. I think if they decided to implement an idea like this they wouldn’t go overboard unless it was the desire of the community.
I know it’s hard to imagine people rather play only against/with their friends than with you or other randoms but that just how it is.
