Sea of Thieves 2023 Edition

    Please explain why the title needs to include “2023 Edition” it was so much better when the title was just “Sea of Thieves”

    Just a marketting decision, likely trying to pull in players who see the 2018 release date and think ''not recent enough for me'' or just letting potential buyers know the game is still getting regular updates. The game in your library is still just called Sea of Thieves.

    @toggledeez they’ll drop it soon, they just needed to boost interest considering the lack of content season 9 was bringing in.

    Na season 10 will be the biggest thing for SoT since Pirates Life mark my words.

    I also thought it was weird when I was the 2023 edition.
