A way to disable/hide the hourglass.

    I wish there would be a way to disable/hide the hourglass on your mission table. It's a little bit immersion breaking if you have to read about "matchmaking minutes" and opt-in PvP everytime you wish to head to this part of your ship. It's a huge window too.

    Adding to that, i will probably never, ever use it and i'm actually a bit afraid i will activate it by accident one day. It just reminds me of the fact that this feature and its contents are things i will never have a chance to unlock or see. I'm sure there quite a few more people like me that prefer the PvE side of the game enough and don't need this.

    There are 2 or 3 button clicks to activate it so you should have should have to worry about accidents tho.

    Yeah you're right that might be an unwarranted fear of mine haha

    Still, it feels weird to see and read it that often. The mission table is pretty full already

    Yeah, i'd definitely prefer if it was somewhere else.

    The voyage table is getting a bit crowded now.

    I like seeing it personally, but that being said I completely understand where you are coming from and think that would be a good option to have implemented

    @pithyrumble you can accidentally activate hourglass and then can't lower for a cooldown timer (maybe 15 mins?)

    Is there not a way to remove this entirely from my table? I just spent 2 hours getting treasure, accidentally activated it when trying to set up another voyage, got sank and lost all my treasure. It makes me want to stop playing the game. I never want to participate in hourglass. Never. It shouldn’t be activated by a single button press, it shouldn’t make you go to an outpost and search down that damn reaper table to cancel it, and there needs to be a way to remove it entirely. This is ridiculous. I don’t want to play the game anymore until this is fixed. I’m so done wasting hours treasure hunting just to accidentally activate it and lose all my work.

    There is not, unfortunately, a way to remove or disable the hourglass on your captain's table....and I honestly wouldn't hold my breath waiting for there to be a toggle created for it, either. I don't imagine it's a big enough issue for the community at large to be a priority for the devs to change it.
