Allow us to test out ships from the emporium and with different combos even with owned parts.
I also dont mean ingame but allow us to go in 3rd person which spins around the ship and also in 1st person where we can explore the ship as if we are playing the live game.
Would love this feature since will help me pick out what ship parts from the shop and not regret it later because I know will look good for what I own.
There are literally toys they have set up so you can preview them before you buy them......
Also You can look at the toy and pick it up before you buy but in this game you have to base it on a single 2d picture. Tons of games have a spin feature that allows us to least look at it at certain angles before buying it.
Team Fortress 2 , StarWars Battlefront, Paladins, Elder Scrolls online, etc.
@burnbacon Visualization isn’t always possible. What if you’re buying a hull for your sloop but the picture only shows the gally? A lot of hulls look very different depending on the ship type. Or what if you wanted to see what the back of the hull looks like, the icons only show off the front.
And I’ve found in a lot of cases that icons don’t do the item justice. There are many icons that have incorrect colors or even missing patterns that the hulls themselves have in game.
This isn’t a solution, but I always make an LFG asking for an owner of the item to equip it so I can look at it! You can also preview things before they release (and give critical feedback) in the test branch if you are in it.
