Been noticing lately snakes are immune to gunpowder explosions, I blew one up! Noticed the snake survived. Thought wow [mod edit]! So I gave it the ol sea dog sit to show my respect, then it spat in my face and killed me 😂😏

I assure you that they are not. That snake survived because of hit-reg.

@galactic-geek Shelly the crab I have proof all that was left of DeMarco was bone Crabs eat what ever they find and Shelly found DeMarco relaxing under a tree killed him then consumed him and now is raising an army to come after the rest of pirates which is why the animals are immune to explosions

I assure you that they are not. That snake survived because of hit-reg.
They actually ARE immune. It's a bug (or new mechanic?) that started at the beginning of Season 6. Wildlife is also not effected by firebombs or blunderbombs.
I miss chucking a blunderbomb at a group of chickens and getting a pocketful of meat to cook.
Hoping it's a bug that they're working on fixing...but until then I'll chase em down like a savage.
