    they should bring in clay cannonballs for target shooting

    slower and don't go as far

    people could use gold to buy the clay balls and they have no other use and don't do damage

    then they can play around with their crew or engage in competitions with other crews

    Could have different colours like IRL flares, put a red one (distress) up to call for help... or is it bait?, the possibilities and applications...
