Along with season 2 came a new activity for merchants; Each merchant has an array of "unprocessed" trading goods, and each outpost has a marked "supply" and "demand". Ships can buy these trading goods and sell them at other outposts. Trading goods that are in high demand, sell for more.
There are a few things to remark here;
Perks: It's insanely good money. I dare say this contests even the moneymaking of regular Cargo Run voyages. From a stock of 8, you buy supplies for 1600 - 2800 each. If you sell them at a correct outpost, you sell it for 3.000 - 6.000 each, flipping them for a profit of around 2.100 each. The selling price IS boosted by merchant flag grade, giving a total of avaragely 11.250 PER CRATE a profit of 9.150, meaning that one load of supplies is 73.2k. PER OUTPOST. That's crazy.
Annoyance 1: Buying the crates is tedious. Every time you buy an item, it's the same process as buying an item through the cosmetics store, which is what we all know... not the fastest.
Annoyance 2: Every crate looks the EXACT same, meaning it's super hard to properly organize them. On top of that, they have a very tight resemblance to Wood Storage Crates. My suggestion? Give the plaque a colour to help differentiate them.
Bug: The Broken Stone and Raw Sugar crates are upside-down when placing them.
