I find it a little annoying that I can be struck by lightning over 20 times in 10 minutes while at an outpost inside the tavern.... I don’t dare go near my ship as i will not be able to keep the thing from burning and sinking with so many lightning strikes .... and if it does catch fire I better off letting it burn than trying to fight it. They need to tone this aspect back a little in the game. It’s as hard to fight lightning as it is to fight a kraken.

This is so that you get the white light from the Ferry of the Dammned in order to be able to unlock the Fort of the Dammed.
Before this latest change in lightning intensity it took me nine months of intensive playing to unlock the white flome commendation for the first time.
But I agree with you, you should be safe from lightning inside of a building.@widowmaker6668 You must be a lucky one eh? Yesterday I chased the storm around until it sank me, no lightning would touch me or my ship. Tryed swimming to a nearby island where the ground around me was struck four or five times. Even tryed running around on ship and sand with sword out, you know because it's metal it should draw lightning to you. No luck for me there. Hope they fix your metal bones!
Lucky .. well I don’t see it that way... every time a storm shows up I’m done unless I have enough food and sit on a rock till it passes but even then I have to go and bail out my boat and sure as s#%t it gets hot by lightning and either I burn to death trying to put it out or my ship sinks... at this point I am returning to regular SOT’s and giving up on the Insider edition.
