Yes, I expect to be ganked for my treasure and interrupted by an attacking pirate when I try to dig up my chests. But the other fear I had is now coming true.
Disconnects from the server.
As I had finished Chapter 1 of the Reaper's Run of Wander's Refuge and done the bribery method to keep a galleon from killing me & my solo sloop, and successfully hid some treasure I was able to go back for...... my sloop flies into the sky with me on it. A clear sign that I was about to disconnect.... and I did.
Hazelnutbeard was the error that came up as a cause. Then when I tried to get back in it is now showing a Cinnamonbeard error.
I had only 28 dubloons to spend on this to do 5 reaper runs quests. I am down to 18 now. I cannot afford these disconnects with my limited money count for a LIMITED TIME event. Everything else I had a strategy for, but I have NO control over disconnects that are not on my end (I'm playing during the time people are at work/school and I'm using a physical LAN cable to Xbox).
RARE please consider again making these quests NOT require dubloons. If you want unlocks like sails to cost dubloons as normally do fine. But the purchase of these repeatable quests costing a limited resource that can be impacted by network errors is just inviting aggravation from your community!
