3 year old game and still no fix, really?
get on it rare, stop putting cash shop stuff in the game and actually fix the basics of the gameplay. Combat has been the worst part of this game for far too long, I remember why I quit playing the first time around.
its not acceptable to have hit reg this broken on a game heavily focussed on PvP.

Oh ye of little faith.
Rare has different teams working on different things to keep things moving forward. Just because they're releasing new content, it doesn't also mean they're not working on the hit-registration issue. Their changes to how bullets work on a moving ship in the latest update was just 1 small step forward towards fixing the issue, along with numerous others they have already addressed in numerous past updates (shooting from under water, from on the ship, at ladders, on rowboats, etc.). When all is said and done you probably won't even realize it, because of how the hit-reg fixes are trickling in. As a result, the issue will slowly fade into obscurity.
