When I look at threads that criticize this game for lack of content or mechanics all I see is "It's only a beta!"
This game has been in development since 2014, so they have had 4 years to develop this game and have done more than a dozens of playtests (alpha and beta)
So please, don't tell people it's only a beta, because what you see is what you get anything other than that is just denial or lies.
These posts have been popping up since they first gave people a glimpse of the game, Yet they don't learn, The devs have tried to explain to us all that there's more to the game than they have been showing, And then there will be more after release, But there's no telling them. Soon they will learn when the game is released. ;)

Maybe we say "this is only a BETA" because we've seen and played more than you and other Insider have seen.. but we just cannot tell you what and how much contents and functionalities there will be.. 😉

@nunoazuldimeter sorry, but I'm a skeptic at heart and I don't trust devs who won't fully present the games features.
I was also in the vermintide 2 beta and that game told me what I could expect from the final build and the devs were very open about it.

Maybe you should pay more attention to videos published by it's own medias. Like inn-side, behind the scenes, and that sort of things. Where they give us some hints about what we should expect from the final game.
There are those Filthy pirates from the web that are always seeking to know and spread more than they should, and let scape confidential information..
And if you like what You've seen and played so far, you should believe more in this game and it's developers and community.
@zynthetikk86 so why did you sign up as an insider for a game you don't believe in? I would happily play this game if this was the FULL GAME. The thought that we are looking at 66% of the game AT MOST only proves how much fun this is going to be. also you say it like they haven't made other features. You assume you can see everything they are doing. meanwhile, there is a third faction, a variety of sea creatures and colourful characters they have already made. they simply decided to save these features for those who put their trust in this game. unlike, you for example.

Yeah, I agree with you @Zynthetikk86 . Been in Alpha since 2016... Been saying it all this time, the game needs more content. They slowly add what? Capturing chickens? That's the extra content they were talking about. I have no doubt that they will release more, in like a year, but as far as release goes... This is pretty much it.

@saltyzar No, I'm implying that we arn't going to get much more than what we have been told or seen.
Sure the game will probably have a lot of content down the line but not at launch.
I know that there is a kraken, legendary voyages and 3 factions so you don't have to tell me about those

@nunoazuldimeter No. You should be more skeptical. I am pretty positive that what we are playing in this build is the final release with the addition of Soul Hunters and legendary Sea Monsters and more cosmetics.
Cause really, any other mechanic they wanted to add in is a bit too late now. Unless they had Alpha Only Scale tests for these secret mechanics then if they add something in on launch it is just going to make the game a laggy fright fest and launch will be horrible as none of these additions got properly tested or got feedback from the community.
You are free to believe in whatever you want with what was said to you..
But I believe in what I've seen and played.. I don't need to believe nor to be skeptical when I experienced more than this..

@ardent-38 I sign up because I was thinking this was going to be a great game with alot of content. I've been playing 4 different builds of this game, from alpha to beta and the game hasn't added that much content. So I did belive in this game and now I don't anymore.
