Bring back Time-Limited items and cosmetics from previous seasons.

I missed out on the Wailing Barnacle Dress, Blunderbuss and Pistol, i wasn’t the biggest fan of them and wanted to keep the hard to get doubloons for future items, only to regret that now, but it is what it is, i don’t want them to bring any of the time limited items back, so you can either invent a time machine or just move on, it ain’t the end of the world that you missed out on some cosmetics.

Nope. Majority of people understand the words "Limited Time" and should remain so.

Correct. Life came first over virtual rewards. What more important? What about the future players who miss out on the Re-release of time limited items? Why even call them that to begin with.

I believe a proper comeback for all the time-limited items would help breathe new life and revenue into the game

New life by bringing back 'Old' stuff?

Bring back the arena items, only a few managed to play that content and you hardly see arena pirates anymore, some way to obtain them, hopefully through pvp

@chip-hazard8275 They have already said they won't bring back the Arena cosmetics. And more than "few" got them.

@FlakeNBake01 Year one cosmetics are likely to never return as Rare has said they want to leave those exclusive to that Era.

I don't have a problem with standalone cosmetics that are time-limited to a specfic event not being re-released. I'm not quite as aggressive in this opinion as most gatekeeping "veteran" players who share theirs frequently on the forums, but I can see their point and concede things like the Launch Crew Eye of Reach or Captain Bones' Original Pirate Cutlass are and would remain time-limited. I can understand the sentiment that those were specific rewards tied to a specfic event or period.

However I think that any full cosmetic sets (i.e. ship/weapons/clothing/equipment) where a small sub-section of items (usually the weapons and/or 3-5 ship or clothing parts) were time limited and the rest of the sets (equipment, vanity and capstan/wheel/cannon skins) were released later in the shops need to be re-released. It's unbearably stupid for people to gatekeep those items when the majority of the set can be purchased in shops still to this day. Even worse, the devs continue to develop new cosmetics for them (i.e. the Bone Crusher Captain's Chair, Table, Drapes, etc. or the new Wailing Barnacle pet outifts that are coming out THIS month).

The missing pieces of the Forsaken Ashes, Bone Crusher, Wailing Barnacle and Mercenary sets need to be released into the stores. Lock them behind comms that were relevant to the period(s) or event(s) they were time-limited during if you must, but there's no logical reason to have 50-75% of a set still available for purchase in the game and not be able to own the FULL set simply beacuse you didn't know SoT existed back in 2019.

I very much agree with this. I dont like some set items being totally exclusive, while the rest of the set is available. It just makes many sets feel incomplete. The half bone crusher set just feels so strange to me, and having all athena items except weapons just makes no sense. Like i get they added a new "reskin" set for those items to let players "complete" the set. But no one in their right mind can say that mostly vibrant emerald green items fit a set thats mostly purple with very little green in it.

Partial sets just bother me for what ever reason, and there is an unusual amount of people who like to gate keep for sure. Just look at the legend curse, it was expressly stated to return before seasons even started, and when people saw and got it, they begged for rare to not re-releas it because they wanted one of the most requested and best cosmetics to be exclusive to them. And for no reason other than they wanted to flaunt or brag about it to people who didnt get it.
