Hi, I'm a long time player of this game and have played since the very first scale and beta tests. I think I speak for a majority of us when I say just because an item was only available for a limited time doesn't mean it should be gone forever. If the files for said item still exist, it shouldn't be too difficult to reimplement them into the game.
As much as we all wish we could find the time and place to dedicate to the game during time-limited events, we all know that simply isn't realistic as life will almost always inevitably get in the way of our plans, resulting in us missing out on cosmetics and items we've strived towards acquiring.
I myself have had many instances of this happening and not being able to aquire items I had wished on acquiring to better help tell my pirate's story, the ghostlight face paint and Bone Crusher tattoo being prime examples of items I've regretted not being able to acquire due to time constraints.
I believe a proper comeback for all the time-limited items would help breathe new life and revenue into the game and give a lot of us who were tied down by school or work an opportunity to be satisfied with how we tell our pirates' stories. Sure we've gotten reskins of some items, but they just aren't the same and are a mere reminder of what once was, and then there were several items that had made a comeback to which they were received with positive feedback and gratitude from the community. It'd be a great way to help reinvigorate us older players into reminiscing on the glory days of SoT and give new players an opportunity to experience the good ole days of such an amazing game and an even more amazing community.
Any feedback or support for this suggestion would be greatly appreciated as I think it's something that's been a long time coming for many of us on the Sea of Thieves. I simply request for the thoughtful consideration of a dev team that we all know has time and time again, strived to listen to and please it's community and help improve such a great game that's brought a lot of us together. Thank you!
