This is not an MMO. The whole point of time gating content in an MMO like World of Warcraft is to con players into staying subscribed for longer because the game has a monthly fee. Its a disgusting way of doing things that every player dislikes. The concept is "well were not going to put out enough content to keep people busy so lets drag the experience out as long as possible" For the exact same reason they dont allow flying in WoW for a whole year because you move 3x faster with fly.
This could have been a fun holiday patch but Rare knew some of us would just do it all in 1 or 2 sessions and be done with it. Was it done this way to combat how easily and quickly PvE discords do the stuff? because the long grindy part of 400 skeletons is open day 1. You give us a new voyage week 1, 2 , 3 but week 4 is the only week we can get credit for doing the voyage, you need to kill greymarrow to complete the voyage and on week for you need to complete all voyages and kill 5 greymarrows so if you do the content week per week in the really sad trickle release format than you just wasted your time. SoT already takes enough time away from people. I am sure im not the only one who has been glad the recent patches havent had time limited content so we can casually do it over time because honestly its been nice not having to play so much. But now to have to wait to redo the same stuff we already complete when you have other games patching and new releases etc. This is just a terrible way of doing things.
Please dont ruin the December event by time gating that too. Also the way you are doing the event tab is horrendous im sure people spoke out about how bad the summer event one was splitting things into categories just makes it look clunky.
Shouldnt have to go 6 pages deep to see what we are working on. 0 reason that these icons need to be so large as well. Is this for the sake of xbox players who might be on a 13" tv or something? i dont see why everything in the menu has to be so large. Please hire someone with UI experience
