Game closes after startup

    So recently the update was released for annaversary and I haven't touched this game in a while since mercary but now after the update the game it just closes itself after I started the game.

    I have tried everything on this page: https://support.seaofthieves.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115015775927-Sea-of-Thieves-not-Launching and it still doesn't work.

    Here is the issue:

    It will just stay black and then after a while just close without any error code or anything at all. I serisously don't know what to do at this point and help would be very appriciated.

    It just worked for a friend of mine who had the same issue.

    What finally worked for me was changing Language settings in Windows to (English United States) after downloading the English United States language pack. This was after multiple reinstalls and swapping around region and language settings between UK and New Zealand a bunch of times. Just thought i'd share.
