How can I be a REAL pirate with these useless pair fleshy legs? I need the way to flash out my pirate personality as a fat ugly piece of barnacle with two wooden legs. How could it be only Merrick exclusive feature? Yes, we've got a shrouded ghost costume, but this isn't enough! I want my pirate running on two flintlocks for Duke's sake!

I agree we should be able to chose R/L for pegs, eyes, hooks. And both.
Kind of a reach, but an amputee who's got the other side missing might connect more with their character if they could match amputations?
Or not. I have all my fingers and toes so I'm not personally sure of that sentiment 😅

Just because Disney own something doesn’t mean it belongs in the Sea of Thieves. The Pirates of the Caribbean fit in well with the lore of the game because Sea of Thieves is literally about the freedom to do whatever you want. Jack Sparrow is all about freedom.

This might explain Hit-Reg. We get to randomly experience being a Stormtrooper or a Jedi, freedom and equality as we don't know which player is experiencing which aspect at any given time.
