Still missing pre-order Stuff. What gives?

  • So we were told that the final codes were sent out this week. I still don't have my code, or anything. Everyone i know has theirs already, so what gives? People already have pirate legend, yet i cant even get my darned preorder code.

  • I don't know about gear, mine was late but I finally got a message on my xbox app that had a redeemable code in it. BUUUUT I still am not getting all my achievements on time, or at all.

  • Have you guys tried to send a ticket ? It would be more helpful than writing on the forum about it. Also if you bought it from a second party site like amazon etc. its better to communicate with them because there is a chance that your key has been sent to them.

    It's actually not helpful at all.

    I sent in a ticket, and they said "Hey, we don't distribute the codes, sorry!" But it's like, actually, you're Rare, it's your game, you're owned by Microsoft, and if you order via the MS Store they actually should take some level of responsibility over it.

    Truth is, they didn't actually read my ticket. They sent me a copy-paste about the Black Dog pack, which didn't even apply to my question.

    I'd say they could do a lot better than this, but I question their ability at this point at the whole "game development" thing anyway.

    yeah, i sent a ticket. just a copy paste. i also bought it through the MS store, that thats not the issue.

    I just got a message from them saying that they are unable to reimburse the wrong purchase, so at least my support agent didn't even bother reading the ticket before answering to it. To be clear, I was asking why I hadn't received my black dog items yet.

    I pre-ordered 13 days before release, still haven't got mine. A friend who ordered 4 days before got his the same day it was released. Sucks..

  • I received the message on the x box app which says "show code on console" but on my x box i didn't received any message from x box live... what should i do???

  • I pre-ordered from the ms on the 19th. Have not gotten code yet not sure if ill get them. Honestly don't know how to send a ticket but other people are saying they aren't having luck with it. When i bought it it said pre-order so i should still get it even though it was on the 19th right?

    My crew and I all purchased from the Microsoft Store. I preordered my copy first and yet, I'm the last one to receive my items. I'm happy that my crew received their items but it's a real b****r that I'm still waiting for mine :(

    I was able to get my code by opening a support ticket in microsoft store, the customer service checked my account and gave me the key in 5 minutes. No copy paste messages. friendly service and really fast.

  • contacted support becuse i also missing my preorder key and support dont give out keys even when they clearly see that the game was preorderd. was told to wait til the 3rd april

  • @eat1bread I also got an copy paste message but,it is understandable that they are working h*****n the other projects and beside important tickets there are lots of useless tickets they have to go through believe me. Still i got my code after a day i sent my ticket. Yours should arrive soon too. Cheers mate enjoy the game !

    my ticket is now 3 days old, and at least 3 members of the support staff have looked at it, but no reply of any kind.

  • update: i got my blackdog code. got it 9 hours ago, around gmt 01:00 (after midnight)
    my 4 day old ticket is currenttly marked: "open- working on it" last activity from staff 1 day ago. good luck out there.

  • I was told by a support member on Monday that they had forwarded my ticket along with others who had not received their items and I can expect to receive my code this week.

    As of two days ago, my ticket has been marked "open - we are working on a response for you", so we will see.

    Hopefully, I will receive my code by tomorrow so I can stop checking the Xbox app every few hours.

  • Pre-ordered a week before the game dropped. Here we are a month after release date and still no code. I have had an open ticket for over a week now and not sure what else to do.

  • @gwynbiaidd Yes, and I was referred to Microsoft, who referred me back to Rare. So nowhere we go. Yay.
