    subjective like all forms of entertainment value to the person. However, with how game developers have been abusing cash shops, crates, and poorly release games. Gamers accepting bad things in video games, has ruined the market right now. It took a major protest of battlefront to even start trying to get back on track.

    So sure people can have fun with this game, but blindly accepting its value at the price tag is where I draw the line. You can be having fun all you want, but look at how long it took them to come out with this game. Look at how poorly the maps are balanced, and how people are just pvping more than doing missions.

    If you can accept the content for this price value. You are part of the problem with developers getting away with half released games. I will call you out on it.

    So I would say it again. If you support the lack of content in this game, with the price they charged. You are part of the problem. Do I make myself clear? Good.

    Again, another person defeated with sound logic. Every little thing you tossed out. I easily argue laps around you. You questioned, and I answered. You said you supported the game. I called you out for supporting a game with a lack of content.

    Rare is not skilled enough to handle todays gaming market. This is proof of this game, that they charged way too much for. Friday the 13th The game did the same thing. Look what that got it? Hardly anyone plays it anymore.

    I am not even going to laugh at your empty threats on slapping me. I am just going to smile and say. Your stance are weak, you can't argue out of a paper bag, and I called you out on supporting a game that most people feel robbed them out of money.

    I hope M$ does the right thing and fire some Rare people for this.

    The forums name is Sea of Thieves Game Discussion. Not Sea of Thieves Angry Player Discussion. Making a post calling people out specifically on how they act on the forums complaining, downing or disliking the game is not what the forum was designed for. You can however put it in offtopic, assuming this forum has one. Just kinda telling you, you're literally asking for people to come into the topic and be either toxic or supportive to your cause and it kind of violates what this specific forum is for.

    IT's great that you like the game, but to say others need to go if they aren't happy, is a way to kill it.

    @rager82 there are several games besides that friday 13th game which did get a comeback. Dont use one game like this of no mans sky and act like every game suffers from the same fate... especially games with non existent gameplay (yes gameplay dont even dare talk about content now.)

    Your entire argument is basically, I don't like this product but others do, since I was dissatisfied I need to either convince others to be dissatisfied or lambast people that aren't and treat them as if their happiness is furthering your disgust. it's very toxic behavior that I assume you don't show in public because frankly like, I know a guy like you IRL and everybody hates him.

    The short version is, people need to provide positive feedback and constructive criticism. Creating post after post saying "this game is trash" and "this is the worst game ever" is not helpful for anyone and isn't what the forums are for. If you have suggestions about how to improve the game or what you would like to see, there's a feedback megathread you can reply to with all of your ideas. If you feel cheated in some way because the game isn't what you expected, you can always seek a refund from your retailer. If they won't give you a refund, you can always initiate chargeback proceedings with your bank or file a complaint with the FTC if you feel it warrants it. If you feel Rare didn't deliver on what they promised or that they didn't publish something worth $60 to you, then don't buy future Rare products. If you are somewhere in the middle but bored with the game, you can always set it aside for now and come back in a few months to see what new content they added.

    Negativity helps no one. Be positive, be constructive.

    Actually, inaccurate.
    For example, if you'd like a Pirate RPG, you could play Sid Meier's Pirates, a game with pirates AND progression.
    Alternatively, if you're all about that ship combat and want smooth combat sequences, you can play Assassin's Creed Black Flag.
    Heart set on a First Person Nautical Combat game? Play Blackwake.
    Want a game with a truly deep economy, universe, lore and an abundance of things to do, WITH multiplayer? Play Elite: Dangerous.

    Sorry, but while nothing else does what SoT does all at once, I'd rather have a Master of One Specific Trade than a SoT style Jack of All, Master of None approach.

    they didn't remove anything from the beta except for being able to carry 4 weapons at once because it was a balancing issue.

    @cwarrick66 Forums are created so that people can criticize the game / report game flaws/ bug . So that devs can see and fix those. If you are happy with the game and if you think the game is 100% perfect then why are you in forums. You should happily keep playing the game.

    So, not only did you pay zero attention to the already known amount of content from comments on the beta, AMA etc. Completely ignoring the fact they've also been upfront about this amount of money you paid basically including a "season pass" because you get all future content.

    Then, you tried the gamepass, saw the actual amount of content and then paid $120 anyway? While aggressively defending the game just 5 days ago with this same attitude.

    You are the definition of toxic. Try giving your feedback, some of it perfectly valid, in a less douchey way.

    The beta the older ones had more outfits, shark colors snails, and other neat stuff that is gone. I wonder why?

    The forums was swearing up and down that more content would be going on at release.

    They said that higher level maps pay a bigger reward, and have a more epic adventure. I got a 150 gold map, and only had a cheap 100 gold treasure that is it. The same value as a zero gold map.

    Not only that, but the grind is so tedious that people are reloading just to do forts, and ignore the treasure maps. And people who don't do that just ganking others because the limited pvp is better than pve.

    Oh and with switching weapons. You can make a 1 shot combo macro.

    I can go on and on. So please, don't you ever tell me what I did and did not do? I did not get a game passed because.

    A) I preorder base off the promises the devs did and the content in the older betas that they cut out.
    and
    B) I liked Rare as a company and they had plenty of time to add more content after the beta I played.

    Also, don't tell anyone what they did or did not do because you clearly don't know jack. Understood?
