any one has spare chips ahoy codes they could private message me?
@ardent-38 It's some sort of cookie special thing in the US where you can get ingame items for buying them.
Sucks when you are anywhere else in the world, we can't get the codes unless we get someone in the US to buy them for us.@khol-thndrwlkr I bought a couple o' packs on Tuesday, used them to unlock me items. As of today, they still not be working for one of me crew that lives outside the US. I tried using his email address too, no luck.
I think claims that they be multi-use are false. If others have had a different experience, please chime in.
@robroythered Yup. Special packs of Chips Ahoy have codes. There are 4 different items to get. Each time you enter a code, you're supposed to get one until you unlock all 4.

They be called Onyx items: bucket, tankard, shovel an' compass. They be in the style o' the Black Dog gear from preorder.
@awesomecoreusa I knew someone in here would know what they were. I knew the Onyx part but couldn't remember what the four items were. Thanks :)

@sir-lotus They are not reusable, only for the first day. And the redemption site isn't having any issues, I redeemed my codes just fine and got the keys within seconds.

They WERE when they FIRST got released, BUT that got fixed after a day or two.
The public codes you are trying are not working not because they are on cool down, but because they have been used already...
I can confirm as i bought some a few days ago and used the codes and gave them to a couple friends who couldnt use any of them.
Unless someone can prove me wrong who has been able to re use a code in the last couple days, i dont beleive thats possible anymore.
That being said, happy cookie hunting! The store i found them at locally only had a few left i was lucky to snag them when i did. IF i do happen to see some more at a store while i am out and about i will be happy to snag a few (the last deal i saw was 2 boxes for 7 bucks), but it does cost some of us time as well as a few bucks.@splatulated Chips Ahoy got wind that people were sharing them and just taking photos of the codes so now the codes do have multiple uses but not unlimited and the cooldown has been increased to hours instead of minutes. Basically any publicly posted code you see is going to be useless unless it was literally just posted. I got lucky and got to use 2 of them before they shut it down. Fortunately I live in the US so I will just go spend 6 bucks and get 2 more codes.
@guepard4 The offer says it be valid through December 2018, so I would suspect the cookies be available for a while.

There is no cooldown. I used my codes 48 hours ago. Nobody else has them. I can't use them again with a different email/IP. They are one time use and that's it.

codes are reusable, but have a cooldown period. (some say 5-15 mins, some say 1hr)
My advice would be to wait a few days/weeks before trying those publicly posted codes.
EDIT: i was wrong, they're not reusable apparently.
I used mine twice.. waited a day or two and tried it again... worked fine. I have spares to give out still just waiting to assure my aussie pal gets his entered and for my wife's account to get the items applied to the game... so far, microsoft is tracking the code accurately but it's not in the game itself.

I can pay you with my experience as a pirate i guess (?)I waiting to see how many unused I retain after the fiasco with my wife's account. If I have unused ones Ill be sharing them on the forum. It'll only be like 2-3 codes. Ill also share the used ones as I swear I've reused one of my codes after a day wait.

@khol-thndrwlkr They worked for multiple users on day one. As a matter of fact my first code gave me two items and my daughter one. I think they realized this doesn't work in their favor. Because now it is one for one situation. Used codes no longer work. As for "non-US" folks. I wouldn't sweat it, there is no way Rare is going to leave you out of this. Somehow these items will come available to you as well.
