I personally would like a megathread about megathreads!
Due to the high volume of topics about this subject...
Seriously though mega threads are awesome and they are very useful in collating feedback on a specific topic! We get requests for mega threads, and we keep them active for around a week. Then refresh them. Not every community hot topic stays a megathread, or is refreshed right away.
I think sometimes people think if it's outside of a mega thread I'm more likely to see it and note their feedback. This not always the case, so I'm trying to encourage people to post in the megathreads!

I do like how they get reset, cause it can be quite daunting trying to engage in a conversation 500 posts in aha!

Mega threads are used to hide discussions about legit complaints to keep the clutter on front forum page down.
