Ok... so mixed messages. Is it a Microsoft Store error? Or has the game been removed?

Sorry about your poor experiences with other players. I have noticed a certain appeal towards griefers that this game has.

After these guys, i even restared my computer and tried again. Still can play. Don't have any idea what's going on but i can access with game pass. So do not speak like you removed the game from Game Pass library. Someone still playing. And probably there is a problem about new update. By the way, if they removed the game from Game Pass lib, why you so happy ? Only you got 60$ in this world ? Do not be funny friends.
This is one of the reasons I'm skeptical of subscribing to the Game Pass. You just never know when they're gonna pull it. Chances are this is probably just an error at the moment, but still sucks for the people who subscribed to Game Pass just to play this game. Will it last 2 weeks/6 months on Game Pass? The point is who knows? I bought a physical copy for my One X that I use and a digital copy for my One S my son plays on. I'm probly in it for the long-haul anyways so I might as well make sure I always have access to the game no matter what.
@aristonsparta ah a fellow ark player, I enjoyed the heck out of the game but I’ve now officially switched to sea of thieves. As for what I said, I’m not trying to accuse all game pass users of being toxic, my own crew mate uses game pass, I’m just celebrating the fact that all the toxic players I ran into will no longer ruin the game for anyone else. I’m specifically talking about the ones that abuse the in game chat to shout profanities at you, they’re low life’s who don’t seem to care that this game has also attracted a lot of young children.
As for players who use game pass but don’t do that, I’ll miss you guys, really. I’m not sure what my friend is going to do if it’s gone now, not sure he has the money to buy it at the moment, I’ll probably gameshare with him or something.
@billpinknye My friend's game pass is 14 days trial too. Restarted computers and playing together right now.

Actually a lot of people bought game pass based on SoT... pretty underhanded if you ask me. Regardless on how one feels about it. However what this says to me is that it caused more problems than made sales.
Free trial is still up though, so maybe it's ok? Nobody has actually been charged for the game pass.

When I try to launch Sea of Thieves, I get this error:
"Sea of Thieves is currently not available in your account. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001"
I had installed the game after starting the free 14-day trial of Game Pass. I just tried uninstalling it to reinstall it, but I don't have the option to Install, only Buy. Scrolling down on the Microsoft Store page, it still says "Sea of Thieves is included with Xbox Game Pass at release", but it doesn't mention Game Pass by the Buy button at the top.
Pretty sure it's just broken. Hope it's fixed soon.
This is the error I am getting, and I've checked into everything to be sure the account lines up and so on.
My guess is that the update to the client created some issues on the back end affecting some users and not others.

Microsoft... this is such a cheap tactic. Call it business, but this is beyond disgusting. Not even letting those that purchased your game pass to even have more than a week on this game.
Now I have to decide if I want to give in to predatory business tactics and purchase a game NOT WORTH $60. I'd pay $30, but not full price.
It was fun while it lasted... just not $60 worth of fun.
they wouldnt be so stupid as to remove it intentionally apparently its a bug of sorts and we will have to wait to gain access again, jumping to the assumption that this was an attack by microsoft without seeking answers first is honestly kinda sad.
Edit: update microsoft is currently receiving reports and have confirmed its an issue on their end which will be fixed as fast as possible
@billpinknye I've been a game pass subscriber since the beginning, and I can't access the game. I bought a disc version of the game, which I gave to my son, and I play using the game pass version. We can play together without having to buy 2 copies.
Edit: Definitely an MS problem. It is listed on the Xbox Live status page.
Ok, here is my last post on this topic.
I started to download new update at my office. Then i turned off my computer and came home. When i started computer and checked the download, it gave an error. Then i deleted and restarted download. It finished. Opened the game and played.
Few minutes later saw this topic and saw assertive funny posts like "restart your game and see, you can't do it". Did it, restarted ms store, game and computer at least. Still playing.
And one last word, if game is deleted from game pass library, people just buy it or not. That's all. My suggestion is stop being like "hahaha game pass users gone, ohohoh".
