3-pirate-crew ship

    So it was discussed sometimes but since Rate mentioned, it was a thinkable idea, the discussions stucked.

    Since we are a 3-men-crew we wanna restart the discussion about the wish for a 3-pirate-ship.

    CONS:

    • The Galleon is 3-4 players (so 3 players can use this)
    • Crew of 3 can recruit a 4th random player

    PRO:

    • A 3-men SKILLED crew is always in disadvantage versus a 4-men SKILLED crew.
    • No compromises for this configuration too

    So please fill the gap between a VERY agile 2-men-sloop and a VERY powerful 4-men-galleon with a less powerful bit more agile (as the galleon) 3-men-corvette or whatever.

    This game is perfect designed for:

    • solo players (sloop is great being alone)
    • 2-men crew (sloop is very in advantage with 2 pirates)
    • 4-men galleon (which is sluggish but enforcing)

    So the only folks, who has a nice 3-crew buddiship (and don’t want recruit a random 4th player) has to make a lot of compromises since the Galleon needs a lot of micromanagement with long walking routes.

    @dablodthirstamo we are also three of us playing sometimes and the galleon its a lot of work for just 3 players. I guess something pretty easy will be a ship exactly beetween a sloop and a galleon. 2 sails mast, 2 cannons per side, less agile then a sloop but more then a galleon.

    Yeah that’s it, I guess. Maybe one instead of two lower decks and maybe the anchor not that reachable as in the sloop.

    Wondering what’s the opinion of other crews. Ofcourse there are a lot of skilled and routined 4er galleon crews do far, and some great Double and solo pirates. But what’s about the other 3er crews out there?

    I would really love a 3er crew ship, it will definetily be a thing that Rare have in the drawer, and I'm waiting for it.

    @dablodthirstamo I couldn't agree more. In fact, I think that there should be a ship for almost any specific number of players, up to a certain number. I know this would take a lot of work on the devs part, but it would go a long way for balanced PVP and the inclusion of more friends.
