Random message appearing in my screen?

    I’m at rep 16 with the gold hoarders, and a message appeared it read something “the world is changing” “new seas to explore” (can’t fully remember) anyone have an idea what this means?? (The message appeared in white and slowed me down).

    @thatllamaguy80 We believe this now to appear when the server you are on gets merged with another... so there are new ships to be on the lookout for!

    That means servers are merging.

    was just about to turn in a bunch of loot from a raid and this message appeared right as we pulled into the outpost, my ship started to sink, and got an almond beard error. Spent an hour for nothing... Please fix...

    @snappishpuma90 Not an insane loss, but this happened after I had just gotten two hateful bounty skulls, one dishonored skull, and a foul skull. Every skeleton that I faught had a pistol or a blunderbuss; they really make sure item spawns don't reset when the servers merge.
