Got to rob someone for the first time last night and it was hilarious! I found the respawn timer was a bit low since we had to keep killing him over and over and it was easy for us. But still it must be so heartbreaking to watch your ship sail off while you are searching for treasure lol!

Hardly and epic hiest 4 on 1, ok that you robbed him, we are pirates after all did you really need to sink him he was hardly much of a threat. This clip will just put single players off come no to the game
I asked about other peoples epic heists, I didn't say mine was. I even said it was unfair with the respawn times. But I guess you must just be salty that someone robbed you lol.
As much as I want to criticise because what you were doing was unfair and technically griefing and I hate seeing players like that. As much as I want to call you a great many colourful names. WTH was he sailing around on his lonesome with that many chests! XD I don't understand that player's logic there, he was basically asking for that to happen XD. Though you were being a (Mode removed) before you knew that they had that much loot so I'm still kinda on the fence about how I feel about that
Yeah, I found a ship anchored on one of the islands and found the players in the water taking the chests back to their ship. We shot the ship twice, sniped the one we could see and took the treasure. Their ship started sinking and we saw his partner swimming towards us, but he had two sharks on him and we just sniped him too. We got a Chest if 1000 Grogs and a Chest of Sorrow. It was awesome :)

I wouldn't say it was griefing, it's going to happen in a game where there is PVP. We did plan on speaking to him first as well but he didn't use his mic so it was a bit hard lol. But you are right about the chests, we couldn't believe how many he had lol!
@mc-rossco completely agree! The respawn is very quick. Didn't give us enough time to sink the ship. However, it was loads of fun and we grabbed a marauders chest out of the shark infested sea. Great fun!
@mc-rossco If you were just doing it to steal the treasure then it wouldn't be because you were playing an objective (which is why I was on the fence about it because it stopped being griefing the moment you actually found out there was treasure to steal) however you started well before you knew there was treasure to steal.
As for the no mic situation there are currently issues in the beta where players are unable to hear anything in the proximity chat so he may have just been unable to hear you, though there are plenty of ways to communicate friendliness in the game tbh.

No don't get me wrong I totally love stocking up on multiple chests before cashing in, I fully get the thrill of racing through the waves with a load of chests below deck, but like if I'm on the solo/duo Ship I only take like 2-3, maybe 4 if they're just the common ones. I'd only really stockpile like that on the bigger ship, which is really fun. That guy however, XD had the motherload, just practically out there in the open not even trying to hide it XD

The Crew under our Captain plundered and sunk 4 ships day one! The booty was niche, but the war was exhilarating!

Robbing people while treasure hunting is just bonus treasure. xD
Robbing people is the best, I hopped on for about 10 mins this morning as a single player, got myself a chest and saw a galleon just waiting at the outpost, I circled round the long way to the back of the island and parked my boat up, swam round the the galleon and climbed up a bit when one of them spotted me, I killed him and quickly went and let the anchor down and the sails loose, as the ship sailed off I delivered my chest without any issues lol!
