Anyone could easily start a new Sea of Thieves journey and manage to meet/defeat a Shrouded Ghost within 15 mins, which would destroy all 'stats' mentioned.
On the inverse, someone could play for 8 years and 1000's of hours and never even see, let alone defeat a Shrouded Ghost.
Almost as if it is actually a (at best) "guess" rather than actual "Stats".

I guess u can't understand what's a timer and the odds to get a Megalodon on Day 1 ... which are like arround 1 %
it's not that u get once a meg on day 1 (cause the meg timer goes from day 1 to Day 9) that all meg will be on day 1.
As soon u kill a megalodon , a new timer is set to your shipt (which can be day 1 to day 9) but the average timer is most of time during day 5/6.But,with an incredible luck you could get a meg on each day 1 ...but it's better to play at the lotery than SOT cause u'll get richer with this kind of luck ... cause getting a meg on each day one , the odds are like 0.0000000000000001 %

open your pirate milestones , The Feared then calculate how many megs you slained
@BellCurve9279 You can multiple meg if you are doing a long session
Next time when you got multiple meg , check in your logbook days between each kill
Exemple :
Day 5 meg , then you were farming quest / world event or any other activities
Day 9 you get your second meg
Day 16 you got your 3rd megIn this exemple you got 3 different meg timer
1st meg day 5 , 2nd meg day 4 (9-5 cause after killing a meg , a new timer is set to your ship) and the 3rd meg day 7 (16-9)As soon you kill a megalodon, A new timer is set to your ship and goes from day 1 to day 9 max
The best is always check the capt'n logbook and it's always better to kill them , cause if u don't kill the meg you'll forget on which day you got them.
On this exemple i get my meg on DAY 15 (Cresteed queen) then 2 days later again a cresteed queenAnd if i remember well on this 20 days session , i got 5 megs : day 5 / day 10 (+5) / day 13 (+3) / day 15(+3) and day 17 (+2) , i get more meg than in usual time (most of time when i'm doing a long session i get only 3 or 4 meg )
No, I have seen three Shrouded Ghosts, so, I think the data for your rarity might be off or missing a factor.
One spawned on another boat, the other two were double spawns I couldn't fight since they occurred alongside a skeleton ship.
I might have to do my own testing to see if forcing a double spawn increases the chances of seeing a shrouded.
My datas are based on my Megalodons that i'm encounter while i'm playing.
So this year, i haven't seen one yet , so i can't stats something that i didn't get.But here are some stats from 2025 (People who helped me to collect data got 5 SG during 2025)
How to get more megalodons than playing normally : MAKE MEGALODON FLEET , you get more chance to get the great white ... cause you are rolling a dice 5or6 times instead one (depend if your meg fleet got 5 or 6 ships)
February Megs Statistics :
This month I got 3 Day 1 megalodon , but statistics are quite the same as the previous month
January Average Meg Timer : 5.49 Days
February Average Meg Timer : 5.38 DaysI got could save -2,004 % time compare to the previous month
Average Meg Timer from 2026 : 5.43 Days

Isn't the actual % chance of getting Shrouded ghost already been known for some time though?
There's that infamous data leak account on X/Twitter that has already leaked the chances, and no, due to forums rules I probably not allowed to repeat said number. I'm sure you are well aware of it though Lukitch with how tapped in with the community you are.Personally the only time I've seen the shrouded in game was during that event a few years back... (I have around 5k ish numbers in total from Microsoft store launcher and Steam combined).
Also @lukitch59 I've seen you around the community a lot, and I wanted to personally thank you for spending so much time data collecting.
I have a question for you though if you care to answer; do you know which players are close to the 5/5 commendation? Last I heard there was just a couple that had 3/5 and 4/5, they mostly relied on their fans/followers to invite them on the whim if they found the shrouded. So I guess it's not ''Legit legit'' encounters according to some hardcore completionists. But at this point, who cares? If they use the community as help, then so be it, it's also like you stated would take a MIRACLE for a player to get 5/5 on their own.
