about a year back the game wasnt available in my region so i set it to uk or us (i dont remember) and bought the game, played it for like 10-15 hours but now when i open up microsoft store i just have to buy the game again.
i had no idea where to post this since it it impossible to get any help from anyone at microsoft or Rare

@stilltugboat198 Do you have more than one account that you play or purchase under? Once a purchase has been made against your account, it sticks around on that account regardless of where you are.
I have noticed some changes with how they handle regions, and to download it again you might need to VPN to the region, not just set it as your region.
For example, I'm in Australia and some movies I want from the MS store are in 4K in the US. I used to be able to set the webpage region to US and buy the movie but that doesn't work anymore. I now have to VPN my PC to the US first, and then go to the US site and buy or rent the movie. Then when I use the app on my Xbox (set to Australia) the movie appears in my list since it is already linked to my account. It plays back no problem, even though I'm in a different region to where I purchased it.
