Hey everyone.
Nvidia launched a driver last night (445.75). I booted up my comp today and launched SoT and the driver crashed and reset. The game didn't start.
I did some forum searching and I couldn't really find a definite fix for a same issue people have months ago.
For the fix that worked for me, I went into Nvidia Control manager > Program Settings > Added SoT.
It worked and the game is running fine. I dunno exactly why this worked though. Hope nobody has any issues.
Update (if the above itself doesn't work).
-Check and turn off Image Sharpening in the Nvidia Control Panel settings.
-Try launching SoT from the Nvidia program (maybe it might help).
