I completely forgot to do this a long time ago. Life and what not. However, I just saw a post by the player in question and remembered that I hadn't corrected a statement made a long time ago.
So this is a public apology to @agent-samuraii and the apology is in question to a thread made probably almost a year ago if I remember correctly.
The thread was about a situation where they recalled events that happened when they were attacked by Kraken and Meg at the same time and they stated that the Kraken came out and whipped them almost immediately.
I called shenanigans on this because I have never seen the Kraken spawn into a whip animation, so I called shenanigans.
I went ahead and tested this out just to make sure and hunted the Kraken exclusively until I felt satisfied.
I don't recall how many Krakens I attacked but I never got an immediate whip spawn. I was going to call it and accept that it was shenanigans. I figured that the amount of times I did was good enough, but I kept going just for the benefit of the doubt.
Well to my shock, I did in fact get a Kraken that spawned into a whip animation. Didn't run into it again for a good while but then I got it consecutively 1 after another for about 5 or 6 times. This was a process that spanned a few months.
So
@Agent-samuraii I apologize for calling shenanigans on the Kraken spawning into a whip animation.
