Xbox players are ready for xbox only servers. We are tired of being cannon fodder for the pc players. Their advantage is way too much and we would rather play without them. The only real fix is to allow xbox to separate.

I play on the Xbox, I played on the PC. Stop asking to remove or optional crossplay. Like hackers, anyone who uses macros is not a real player. Who needs macros to be a good player, will never be a real good player. A good chess player don't need to change the chess pieces position to win. When you play 1 button and do 3 actions, it's not fair. I can do double shooting on a Xbox.

Got your point, but, it makes no sense to say that I, for example, was the first person to climb Mount Everest if all I did was sit in a chair while other people carried me.

I play 99% of the time on PC and I usually have no problems taking care of Xbox players. The only situation they can be on the same playing field is when in boat to boat cannon shooting.
But anything else we PC users moves and fights so much faster. I run around some Xbox users as they have problems keeping up as I run close and jump around them slashing them with my sword.
I play at 60fps which alone gives a substantial benefit to me over Xbox players stuck at 30fps. But today a friend got a 1ms 144Hz monitor and I got to try it and oh man it takes it to another level! Insane buttery smooth and lightning fast.
It's easy pickings for me when I play on PC. So I shouldn't complain really. But I see others having a hard time keeping up. Xbox gamers complaining. And I can perfectly understand why.
They should complain every day on the forums and on twitter until something happens. Or just stop playing in protest. I know I would if I were a Xbox player in this game. Even tho I love the game....

I understand too, but people should stop blaming other players and their platforms, and begin to perfect themselves in the game. The base of PC players is too small for 90% of the problems of this game to be thrown into them.

They should search topics made by other players before coming to post new complaining topics.

I use the sticks for jump and sprint with them mapped to the back paddles for the elite. this is as close to PC combat as I can get. If the input latency on xbox wasn't so bad, I would definitely hold me own. as it is, sniper battles are a no go. my solution is to avoid sniper battles.

Why do people insist M&K is the savior of cross play.
How am i to balance a M&K on my lap whilst i sit on the sofa. I have no intention of buying one, i like to use a controller with my console, otherwise i would just sit at my pc which will run SOT just fine, but who wants to do that when you can be lovely and comfortable with a huge TV infront of you?
Sure M&K will be enjoyable for slow paced city building etc games, but it will never work or be popular for games like this.
Face it. Optional crossplay is best for all. Can't see any harm in having the choice to use it or not. Most other crossplay titles have an optional choice..

No your the one who just comes here to post/endorse stupid comments like how you should all make a drinking game out of this instead of rare adress it, or say lock the thread when its a completely valid complaint to make from a casual xbox standpoint, or a common sense on crossplay standpoint, or an honest pc players standpoint.
And you can hide the threads as you see them with a couple simple clicks.
Theres a group of people on this forum whos only apparent purpose for being here is to undermine this specific issue, they all claim not to care, yet they know there is no issue except with the people making the threads. Its ridiculous and far more annoying than having to see duplicate threads about a topic you claim not to care about.
Anyone else find hilarious that were not asking for pvp to be taken out or cross-play taken away we just want the option to turn it off or on. People tell me i should get gud well tell that to the people who came together and got hud taken off for streamers could you imagine if everyone just told you it's a pirate game get gud there not stream snipers there doing what Pirates are supposed to do steal the loot!

Besides doubleshot, which is easy to do without macros (I find it even easier with controller than with m+k)... what kind of macros are people using? And how can I detect who is using them?
@clarionz If you basically feel like you have just died in one shot that’s basically the one which ruins the game as you can be insta killed and it takes all skill and fun out of the fight.

WAY faster loading in every single situation
Easier aim
Much better hit detection
More fluid movementNow while Xbox players CAN beat PC players are you really gonna read that list then say "nah nothings wrong". SOT is a casual game, but Arena is aiming to not be casual. EVERY game that is competitive or somewhat competitive has optional crossplay because PC has an advantage over every console. I literally don't see why all the PC users act like the option to toggle crossplay is game breaking. If you have Xbox friends they leave it on and you play, if you want better overall pvp you turn it off and get PC players only. I know for a fact when I get my PC if it were an option I wouldn't even want to fight Xbox players since as an Xbox player it's so mindnumbingly easy. Crossplay is generally a good idea, but forcing it almost never is with any title that has PvP involved. Just the opinion of someone who plays on both sides. PC has an advantage, you're literally stupid to deny it.

Here's a novel idea: instead of whining on the forums about other people being better than you, try improving.
There's nothing more satisfying than hearing people accuse me of cheating or being a "PC tryhard" after destroying them and getting to tell them that I play with a controller.

And this highlights the problem beautifully. You need to avoid sniper battles because xbox. Some need to avoid cqc because xbox. Some need to run from ships on the horizon because xbox.
Meanwhile the kbm player gets to play and experience 100% of the game without being disadvantaged. Not once does a kbm player have to change tactics or strategies because the enemy ship has better tools for combat. An xbox crew is almost forced to play more cautiously than their kbm brethren. Hey Rare, is this working as intended?
