just because I deleted my pirate to get a different looking one. this shouldn't happen IMO. makes me very unhappy as I am still a day 1 pirate.
Day 1 Eyepatch Lost
I pre ordered the game for $60.
Lost my day 1 eye patch because of a bug that changed his appearance.
Deleted my pirate. Created a new pirate. Fixed the bug.
Now the day 1 eye patch as been removed from the store after the new update.The eye patch needs to link to your account permanently just like the black dog dlc.
Not be removed if you delete your pirate.
I have played the game since 3/19/2018.
Achievements still don't unlock for me too.@Noruas Did you happen to read what happens when you delete your pirate? I don't have the exact wording but it says "it deletes everything" that includes any items you had.
@GhostWolfViking Why did you delete your pirate? They mentioned just the other day that they knew there was a glitch in some clothing. Same way with your achievements. If it helps go to this link where they describe issues. You probably would not have lost your Day 1 patch.

Had a bug that turned my character from a white guy into a black guy, than an asian female.
Deleted it.
Started a new character.
Character progression was lost after playing on this new pirate and it disappeared.
Created another pirate. Black pirate turns into a skinny white guy after respawning.
Deleted him and started over again.Created a white blonde pirate.
Loads me into the pirate creator and I see the pirate I picked.
It shows press A to select. I pick him and it changed into a random pirate.Deleted that pirate and created a fresh new pirate after this new update.

then it should have taken my black dog items as well. but it didn't. this game is a mess.

@noruas Actually, the Black Dog items are tied to your Account, not the pirate specific. So they would not remove them from you. That is why people with Xbox Share all have it because it is tied to the home account.
