Xbox one Black Dog Pack Redeem code has been redeemed, but have not received pack in game.

  • I received the welcome message from xbox that had my redeem now option below it. I have clicked and redeemed the code. It is showing up in my order history on the Microsoft store. However, no matter how many times I restart the game and load in the black dog gear is not in my inventory. I've called Microsoft and have an open ticket with them. They have said that in some rare cases it might take up to 72hrs for my account to sync and suggested that I delete my profile from my Xbox and then re link it to force an account sync. I've done this and this did not resolve the issue. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? How can I get in contact with Rare to report this issue or to see if this is a known problem that is being looked into?

  • I’m having the same problem and its not helpful idiots online are saying you have to talk to an in game npc vendor to get it but never say which one. And there is no information on where it is or why its not here

  • @scalawagsam I'm having this issue with the Mercenary outfit, as for talking to an NPC you don't have to. I've got the black dog it just appeared in the clothing chest on the ship after I redeemed the code.

  • @justap1lgr1m only thing I could suggest is check in the manage game option if on xbox on the game and check ready to install if not then Microsoft will say a few things along the line of power restart your xbox by holding it in till its off, or delete your account and recover it but the account thing dowpesnt always work like youve experienced

  • @cptcharleston That's not the same issue, that statement is for people who haven't received the code at all.

    I'm having the same issue as OP where I got and redeemed the code but nothing was received in-game

  • @lethal-industry exactly, we redeemed the code but never received the dlc in the game, I wonder why there's no comment from developers... game's not finished, dlc is not there... ridiculous

  • Same issue here as well. Now, should I wait and see if the date in the post mentioned would also apply to us before raising a ticket?
    I got the message, redeemed the code, something seemed to download but nothing show anywhere. Neither in-game nor in game manage.
    Could this be related to the Final Beta? I deleted the final beta only after the actual game finished to download. It should not be related as they are different titles, but could also be a bug.

  • They said there will be a patch fixing it early next week. It should fix dlc's and achievements not popping up.

  • Well i have had the same issue exactly it is good to know that there are others with this problem and i am not the only one. Personally i take the 72hr wait as good news as i was afraid of it just flat out never working.

  • @katttruewalker If they have temporarily disabled this does that mean after it is re enabled i will finally get it or will it not work because i redeemed the code while it was disabled?

  • Unfortunately it hasn't been fixed for me yet, but I did open a ticket.
    For some reason they didn't read my text and just keep talking about me 'not receiving the code' I clearly state that I redeemed the codes even with MSS screenshot :( Maybe they are over worked?

    Anyway, my specific issue could be that I bought the game with account X and play (and redeemed the codes) on account Y. But that would still be weird as the items on all other games are linked to the account. Anyway, I'm waiting on support to actually read my ticket so we can see what's wrong.
