Please Please Please Rare... Bucket Bug.

As the topic title says Rare,...Im begging you, please please can you fix this bug...its so instrumental in the gameplay of Sea Of Thieves and its game-breaking IMO.. I have today lost 2 battles because of it and it is so annoying that 4 years down the road, you are adding all these new things to the game but cannot seem to keep these basic things working properly... I was in the middle of a fight with a skelly galleon and as im bailing water out of the back of my sloop i had the full animation of throwing the water out the back, the water flew through the air and i heard the splash of it hitting the sea, but as i went to scoop another bucket imagine my surprise when i, instead of filling the bucket with more bilge water to keep my boat afloat, the bucket was actually still full, i threw a bucket of water onto my sloop which caused me to sink.... I mean, c'mon Rare... this is not some new feature or something inconsiquential.... this is one of the most important items in your inventory, it is used probably the most often in a game session and its been here from day1.....PLEASE fix it.... i get that hitreg is a problem but as an amatuer coder i also understand how hard hitreg is to fix... but the bucket NEEDS TO WORK...
Please stop adding all these features (some of which ,I think are amazing)....but you need to get the basics right first.. Well after a long and absolutely amazing time together, i think i will be leaving you for a while....I cant play SoT now because im too worried about getting into fights or bailing my ship because "will the bucket actually work" yes no maybe....
IMO .... this is something that until it is fixed, everything else should be stopped... get your best and brightest brains on it...SoT is useless if the bucket does not work as intended...
