we was told if we didn't do the THD DLC we wouldn't be getting the drums and megaphone, now they just handing them out to everyone ( I know this wasn't hard to do) but wasn't the point of the DLC to do the stuff instead I could of just gone killed meg waited till end and got all rewards. this just seems very silly to me

@commando-slippy We got the limited time skins for those items... the others will have to deal with the shabby sailors' ones or purchase their own different skins from the shops on the outposts. We now have these items that others will not be able to get again.
You will stand out from those that never got to complete the quest and they will ask you where you got yours from... and you can say "I was there" "I took down the Meg"

Weekly events will have limited time skins for the new items added. Do event get skins. Dont do event, you get the items but not the funky fresh skins@musicmee still skins will get to point no one cares about having the DRUM or not would of been bigger (with options later for merick to be back at beach for another go at it)

For the record im a collector and hate timed skins. But i understand em and hope they come back to the game at some point. Even if we had to pay for em@apocacide There will be skins for the speaking trumpet and the drum in the stores Tomorow. So there will be plenty of options to match your current outfit.

Well, you misinterpreted that. The Shark Hunter drum, speaker horn, titles, scar, tattoo and figurehead (from the campaign) were exclusive to this event. No one after it will get them.
