Combat styles animations

    So you know how we have disguises now which once was an emote now a fascinating way to sneak around. What if we had something for combat that changed how we fight. Specifically for throwing knifes, swords, blowdarts, single and double barrel pistols, and a new option unarmed. Pvp and pve would be alot more interesting. Ai would theses well and randomized making them more dangerous. Possibility of more in-person combat would occur in more epic ways. Bosses would also utilize these making them terrifying. A pirate's life is an epic life with danger and adventure. Currently I see neither in the community or at least those that do are a rare sort. And then we have people that are complaining about PVP and PVE usually the opposite sides have they keep getting attention this idea would definitely satisfy both.

    Imagine having throwing knives that you can throw all five knives fan like. Or new heavy attacks like the ones that the Ancients use. Maybe light attack based on fencing.

    @kianonboard I did. Fan style throw where all knives are thrown at once. Or the more u charge the throw the more knives are thrown.

    I imagine throwing multiple knives it makes it unique to avoid but the drawback would be it takes longer to be able to throw more knives

    I think this is an interesting suggestion, unlockable only by gaining grade 5 in certain emissaries, or by completing certain world events. For example unlocking grade V OOS emissary gives the option of switching your throwing knife style with slightly different trajectory or debuff.

    lol how is that any different from picking up wraith balls from a ghost fleet, or from obtaining lots of cannonballs over time?

    @rare-jumbie I could sink someone with that amount of cannonballs / wraithbals - however, you'd have to grind out commendations to get more 'abilities' for your weapons, so there will be an uneven playing field.

    @kianonboard I never said anything about commendations and I never said it would be permanent. A crew would have to do the world event or emissary grade v every time in order to get the upgrade/ability and I would also suggest it only last a certain number of uses.

    @kianonboard who cares? it's a game mechanic to encourage people to do things. That's like asking why getting to grade v allows reapers to see everyone on the map or why it allows hunters call to see the ancient meg.
