Vault door timer change

    I used a vault key to open a door, but the second door would not open. I took a couple minutes taking my close to the vault for easier transportation. When I got back, the door was still closed.

    From what I have heard, there is a 2 minute timer before the vault door cannot be opened at all. There was no warning of this, despite the fact that it erases a lot of progress.

    From what I have heard of other people discussing this topic, most of them view it as an annoying bug or a glitch. Is this a bug? If not, what is the point of this feature, as it has been viewed as a bug by a lot of people.

    @peepance985 It's by design (because there needs to be risk to add value to its worth when you succeed), and 3 minutes.

    Part of the vault experience is not only grabbing as much as you can but prioritising the most important stuff (because you are unlikely to get everything)

    If in a crew, have someone focus on the tributes chest, another taking chests just outside the door and someone else dropping chests from the top, below.

    That way you will clear the room.

    Don't bother with coins til after the everything is outside.
    You can just have loads of food and pick up the coins after doors shut, eat food to breathe longer and by that time you and your buddies would of grabbed everything in there. Respawn and collect chests outside door

    But to answer your question. It's all intended.
