Pirate Emporium Potion Issue Update - Issues Now Fixed

    Update 20th February 4:30pm :

    An update on the Pirate Appearance Potion - issues with the potion have been fixed and it's now available to purchase again. Players who use it from this point should no longer experience issues and players who purchased multiple potions to try and resolve the problem will soon be reimbursed for any additional potions they drank. We'll be sure to let you know when those reimbursements have been issued.

    Just a quick update on the Pirate Emporium Potion!

    We're aware that some of you are experiencing issues with the Pirate Appearance Potion. We've halted use of the Potion while we investigate and advise waiting before you grab one from the Pirate Emporium (or if you already have one, hang on to it for now). We'll keep you posted!

    @musicmee I just bought one and restarted my game, and I didn’t get the option to switch pirates, does that mean I just wasted 2 bucks? I got on the forums after I loaded in so I did not see this.

    @rolling-malex You got it but the Potions been disabled till they fix a bug i believe. Once they turn it back on you should be able to use it.

    You will be able to use your potions as soon as the issue has been resolved - shouldn't be too long until you can swap out your pirates again!

    @musicmee Do we know what the resolution may be for those of us that already used it and have the bearded ladies? will the beard just disappear after the fix? or unknown at this point.

    What do you mean hang on to it? I purchased it and it said reload your game :/ i dont see a way to manually use the thing.

    I'm assuming you're saying you cant unequip a beard in your vanity chest...

    I bought the potion but cant use it yet. Wish they would have disabled purchasing too when they knew there was an issue. Hopefully they'll fix it soon.

    I heard people with bearded male characters became female characters. But you load in with your last used specs, specifically a beard... so when they remove said beard the face is left with an unremovable stubble.

    @pbailey89 When the potion has been re-enabled as long as you haven't used it you will have a prompt on the main screen!

    Mainly a lot of permanantly bearded ladies from what I hear... before Rare got into any more stubble they disabled it!

    I used it and had no issue.

    Though I DID remove all my clothing and vanity items before logging out to use the potion.

    Think I used the potion.... probably around 1:00, maybe a little before.

    Chose a pirate and logged back in around 2:45 or 3.
