With the end of the xbox pc war and xbox finally winning its freedom as announced in the last dev update video will Rare release some media informing the mass of players that left because of the awful crossplay blunder.
Or will it remain the jobs of xbox players to inform everyone on their own. I think it would be a good idea to release some media Rare get a lot of players that got sick of it to come back.
It will at least replace the pc players that threaten to leave because they didnt get what they want.

I don't think opt out will change anything...I play since the beta and PC players I met are more friendly than console players

Nooh crossplay is easy pc cant aim canons and dont know how to fight 👾 just dont let any superdude get on the boat 🤕
I expect they'll focus on the more showy aspects of the update rather than a menu toggle switch. At least if we go by the Arena preference choice, anyway.
Oh, and....
I've said this once and I'll say it again. The Opt-out isn't 100% enforced when the population requires others. If there aren't enough cross-play/opt-out players on, it will place them together. You aren't guaranteed to not play with PC even being opted out. I would love to say the population will have enough that it won't happen but I've had multiple Arena games where my boat was placed with Opt-Out players. I know it isn't a phrase to make light of but my friend and I call it the "Xbox Turn" when you see a player make a slow turn that looks like a robot.
I have a feeling we're going to see more players using Mouse/Keyboard on their consoles as well. People will always go for the advantage. If you are planning on doing this, you will need to raise the sensitivity so it isn't "delayed".
