What do you think about a battering ram?

    I quite like the idea of adding a ram-ship into the game or the opportunity to "customize" the current ships with a battering ram.
    Unfortunately, the game wouldn't be balanced anymore if some ships are equipped with a ram and some are not, but I'm sure there is a solution! :)

    @der0ve ok, but only if ramming another ship puts holes in every spot possible in front of your own ship, and knocks down all of your own masts. It would be a good lesson on why rams were on exactly 0% of wooden tallships.

    would be cool if we could trade some ship parts for others on outposts. for example, the harpoons can be replaced by a ram, flamethrowers, or swivel guns. all would have equal advantages and disadvantages.

    What do you think the figureheads are for? To look pretty? No! They were made to so you can bump into other ships to your heart's content!

    Maybe adding rams to all ships in the Arena would help those small-island-centric stalemates. Where two teams are faced head on at an island and there is plenty of player PvP but neither team can escape nor sink the other ship.

    It would give me the confidence to go full steam at ships handing Sea Dog chests in as well.
