I apologize if this has been asked already but does anyone know if you need to buy the Anniversary Edition to get everything or does the Anniversary update have everything the Anniversary Edition has?
Sea of Thieves Anniversary Update and Anniversary Edition.
@spidermonkey484 I not certain on this but I believe the anniversary edition comes with some cosmetics. The standard game has all game play mechanics introduced in the update so unless you like cosmetics I don't think there is any point to getting the anniversary edition.
@birdjuice91 thank you. I do enjoy cosmetics but i wasn't wanting to spend $50 on just the Anniversary Edition
@spidermonkey484 The Anniversary Edition is the same as the normal game apart from the Sea Dog cosmetics that come from buying The Anniversary Edition.
If you already own Sea of Thieves, there is no reason to buy The Anniversary Edition as it is the same. The included cosmetics (for buying The Anniversary Edition) are also available to purchase for gold in game.
