THAT PRICE!

  • @thesuperwolfy you get one key to the game, that key can be used both on xbox or PC. You aren't buying two copies just one for the current price.

Whether you believe that is worth it is up to you. I personally think is is worth the money.

  • hmm I didn't get a discount for the PC version I'll never ever use....

  • It is a windows 10 UWP app, same game that run on both systems. You arent getting 2 separate games like if you were buying Red Dead Redemption 2, which has completely different builds and hooks from the code into the system.

    You arent paying for both.

  • $30 at newegg

  • It is a play anywhere title, once you own it it can be played on your platform of choice at no additional cost.

  • @thesuperwolfy said in THAT PRICE!:

I think Sea Of Thieves should be sold separately on Xbox and PC and cost less. I wanted to buy this game until I saw the price, I do not have a console so I do not need both versions only one

Sea of Thieves is a Play Anywhere title, which is considered by many gamers to be a fantastic program, https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/xbox-play-anywhere

The game is also available through Xbox Game Pass, https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-game-pass

Not sure whereabouts you're from, but there is also the odd sale, so if you look around local retailers or online stores, you could get lucky. I would recommend only using licensed retailers though, not the shady ones where the prices really are too good to be true.

But "seperate" versions ain't gonna happen, some of the other members here already mentioned why.

  • Try the game with now-on-sale Game Pass & Gold; you can see if it fits the price. Anyway, manteining the Game Pass account keeps the game free.. you also need Gold to play.
